2020 Event Cancelled.
Dear Colourfest Community
We hope this finds you well and navigating these unchartered waters with creative openness, presence and deep care.
We appreciate that this may be a tough time as we may have loved ones or friends who are close to us deeply affected by this. For many of us, we are having our sense of stability shaken financially and socially, as well as impacting our familiar patterns of lifestyle.
After watching the unfolding of events within the last couple of weeks leading to self isolation, news of the peak of the curve in cases determined and laws banning large events we are sad to say that we will have to cancel our event in June.
Financially we are going to take a big hit as many of the cost and deposits already incurred cannot be recovered and it’s still unclear what support, if any, maybe offered by government. At this point, we are uncertain whether we will be able to sustain Colourfest going forward.
We appreciate we all face similar challenges and we will go ahead and refund the full ticket price to you less a booking fee of 15%. This booking fee will help us some way recover some of what will be lost and hope that business support, when it becomes clear, will help see us through. Paypal fee’s are also no longer refundable and stand at 3.4% + £0.20.
We will start to process refunds from Monday 30th March.
We are also opening a £10, £20 & £50 donation tickets as many of you have so kindly offered to help support losses incurred through deposits and pre festival expenses. We have both been so touched by this gesture. It is received with so much thanks and it reinforces the beauty of what we are all growing together through this gathering.
We want to thank you for the kindness that you have all shown us and to all the artists and tutors that made plans to be with us and all you who have bought tickets.
This has brought the world to an enforced stopping, in a way that not many other things would have had the capacity to do. In any shift of momentum often comes self-reflection, and with inner space, if we are able to listen deeply enough, can come huge growth and evolutionary opportunities. Amongst the chaos and uncertainty we both feel inspired, deeply alive, even fuller of gratitude and full of energy to meet what may continue to unfold.
We wish you much love and wellbeing and may we all together move from our deepest truths and knowing.
Rowan & Robbie
Ways To Donate
We have received so many amazing gifts and offerings from you on ticket refunds its helping enormously. Many have written in asking us how they can support us. We have produced a £10, £20 & £50 donation ticket below as way to make an offering if you feel called to do so. Thank you so much.
SUPPORTING THE WORK OF THE TREE SISTERS
Walk with us at Colourfest with the intention to rebuild the forests once again, not only with a financial donation but just as importantly through the heart with gratitude and reverence to life. This year we have been touched by the love and clarity of this organisation, and so want to give energy and love to support its vision. So if you feel called, please donate and join the Colourfest Community in growing our forests and supporting all life.
TreeSisters exists to elicit collective responsibility for planetary restoration at the grass roots level with a focus on women and tropical reforestation. They are growing a global network of women who donate monthly to fund the acceleration of tropical reforestation as an expression of collective planetary care.
We have a goal of raising £10,000. Please donate and join the building of our forest if you feel the call. Thank you x
